An extremely hard working, coachable and focused player; who will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal. On past teams, Michael has been a leader and among the hardest workers in the group. For his efforts, he has been awarded Captain or Assistant Captain for his teams. Michael knows his role as a defenceman, taking care of our end first but also contributing as much as possible on the offensive side. Michael is very physical and strong on the puck. Using his quick feet and strong shot, Michael is a top point producer on the backend.

Playing in 2020-2021 for the Westshore Wolves in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL), he practices on and off the ice 5 days a week.In addition, Michael bikes several times a week and boxes with a professional trainer once a week. Michael is a former elite lacrosse player winning Bantam A1 Provincials in 2018, and winning an award for most inspirational player.
